Installation Recommendations
When replacing leaf springs, ATS strongly recommends inspecting related suspension components:
- Leaf spring hangers
- Leaf spring shackles
- Spring eye bushings
- Axle U-bolts
Original U-bolts should not be reused due to stretching from prior torqueing. New U-bolts ensure proper clamping force and suspension safety.
