ATS Springs offers 7/8″ Grade 8 Round U-Bolt Kits for leaf spring suspension systems on heavy-duty, medium-duty, and light-duty trucks, as well as select automotive applications.

These Grade 8 round bend U-bolt kits provide increased strength and clamping force, making them ideal for heavy loads, commercial use, and demanding suspension applications.

Each 7/8″ Grade 8 U-bolt kit includes:

• (2) round bend Grade 8 U-bolts
• Deep nuts
• Thick hardened washers

Re-using original or previously torqued U-bolts is not recommended, as metal fatigue and stretching occur during initial installation. New Grade 8 U-bolts ensure proper torque retention and long-term suspension reliability.

Benefits of Grade 8 U-bolts:

• Higher tensile strength than Grade 5
• Improved resistance to stretching during torqueing
• Maintains proper axle-to-spring clamping force

All ATS U-bolts are bent from straight rods when ordered, making them a special order item. Due to this custom manufacturing process, all U-bolts are non-returnable.
