5/8″ Grade 8 round bend U-bolt kits are designed for use on leaf spring suspension systems for:

• Heavy duty trucks
• Medium duty trucks
• Light duty trucks
• Select automotive applications

Round bend U-bolts are commonly used on round or semi-round axle housings and provide even clamping force across the leaf spring pack.

What’s Included

Each Grade 8 round bend U-bolt kit includes:

• (2) 5/8″ diameter round bend U-bolts
• Deep nuts for added thread engagement
• Thick hardened washers for higher torque applications

Why New U-Bolts Matter

• Re-use of original or previously torqued U-bolts is not recommended
• U-bolts stretch during initial installation and lose clamping strength
• New U-bolts are the foundation of a proper leaf spring install

Installing new U-bolts helps ensure correct axle alignment, safe load handling, and long-term suspension reliability.
